This Purina Mills website is good for students to learn how the different feeds for different species work. The website will have ingredients, calendar of workshops, videos from youtube, and blogs. The students can get on the website and explore what Purina Mills has to offer when they are making the selection of an animal to show at the local county show.
Oklahoma State University is the number one rated college for most accredited information when it comes to Agricultural information and experience. The Oklahoma State University has put together a set of website pages for Cattle breeds, along with sheep, goats, and pigs. This website will allow a student to access the web and with only one site they can understand how cattle are different. The website will describe individually each animal breed and where it originated from.
Parlimentary Procedure is a major source of how a meeting is suppose to run with an organizational stand point. This website breaks down the procedure in order for the students to read and understand. I would use this website in my class because I think all students should know the order of process and organization of the meeting.
The Texas FFA Association will allow students to find out what is going on around the state of Texas with other FFA chapters, events with CDE’s, results from CDE’s and also results from LDE’s. The website also has links to help students connect with similar students of the same intrest. The Texas FFA has scholarships, internships, and many study abroad programs for the students to become involved in and expand their future.
This website document from Williams will help students learn the different cuts of meat, grading procedure, and what the normal slaughter cattle should look like. The document breaks it down in a step by step program for the students to grasp each concept and follow.
